Class Information
In this expedition, students will delve into two case studies focusing on the Silk Road, a group of trade routes that connected China and Europe. The expedition runs chronologically to highlight enduring understandings related to how and why economies rise and fall over time based on social and technological development. Students also have significant opportunities to examine multiple perspectives related trans-Asian trade.
