I am originally from southwest MO, but I chose Colorado Springs as my current home after graduating from the University of San Diego with my bachelor's in Elementary Education. In 2018 I graduated with my Master's of Arts in Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado. I've taught both 1st and 2nd grade, but this is the first year I'm teaching first grade twice in a row. I'm very excited! When I'm not teaching I love exploring new places with my husband Colby and two dogs, visiting my mom and grandma in MO, golfing, biking, and tie-dying.
