Enrollment at PPSEL is handled through the main office.
The very first step in enrollment is to fill out an enrollment inquiry at https://www.ppsel.org/admission/ or use the enrollment “button” on our website.
After receiving an enrollment inquiry, PPSEL will enroll students within the Open Enrollment Window where there is room in classrooms. When there is no longer open seats in classrooms, students will be placed on a waitlist according to the date in which they filled out the inquiry.
Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning (PPSEL) does not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, ancestry, need for special education services, or any other grounds prohibited by law. PPSEL serves students with disabilities and English Learners and provides services to students as required by state and federal law. In most cases, the services required by a student with disabilities can be provided at PPSEL. In some cases, a student’s individual needs require that they be placed at different program or location as determined by an IEP or Section 504 team.
Enrollment in charter schools is available to all students, including students with disabilities, and information about disabilities will not be requested until a student has been admitted and enrolled in a charter school. For questions regarding the admission and enrollment of students with disabilities in charter schools, you may contact School District 49 or Don Knapp, Executive Director of Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning at email@example.com.
The School Board of Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning (PPSEL) declares PPSEL’s Open Enrollment Window to begin February 1 and closes June 1. Enrollment during this window follows the standards laid out in PPSEL’s charter contract. Enrollment outside of this window is only possible through administrative review.
