I am so excited for another great year at PPSEL and I can't wait to teach 2nd grade again. Please be sure to read all paperwork coming home on "Meet the Teacher" night and let me know if you have any questions. Email is the best way to contact me. Please fill out and return all paperwork from "Meet Your Teacher Night". Some of this paperwork will be used to create a class list with student and parent names, as well as providing me with the correct email addresses to communicate with you about all relevant class happenings.
I am a Colorado native and I grew up in a small mountain town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. I graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with my Bachelors of Innovation in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. I started my career in education as an assistant and lead preschool teacher for kids aged 3-5. I have also worked as a summer camp counselor and I spent a year living in New Zealand where I worked as a substitute preschool teacher. I started teaching at PPSEL in 2023.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending as much of my time as possible outside. I love hiking, skiing, paddleboarding and rafting. Some of my other hobbies include traveling, photography, reading and watercolor painting. I can’t wait for another great year at PPSEL!
