Dear parents and students,
I am Mr. Neville (pronounced: nuh-VIL (like Cruella de Vil, but with an N)) and I am so very excited to be teaching 4th grade at PPSEL this year! I am passionate about mathematics, physics and the many sciences, story-telling and performance, and especially art. I expect to bring my love of learning and these many fields into our classroom!
I hope that you are as excited as I am to build a strong crew and take on the next year with enthusiasm for learning, exploring, and sharing the wealth of knowledge that we will undoubtedly discover together!

I am Shay Neville, and I have been teaching at PPSEL since 2018. I come from Wyoming where I graduated from U.W. with a degree in both Elementary Education and Art Education. Before joining the PPSEL Family, I taught 1st-3rd graders at the University of Wyoming Art Museum in the Learning from the Masters program for 3 years. Since joining our team, I have also completed a masters degree in Mathematics Education from Mt. Holyoke College.
I call the Rocky Mountains home and have lived in Montana, Wyoming, and now Colorado. My wife and I enjoy spending our breaks and downtime doing everything outdoors from hiking and mountain-biking to hunting and fishing to napping on the beach or on the mountainside. When it's too cold or miserable to be outside, I am passionate about collecting and playing board games of every sort (especially if they involve strategy!)
